Camper FAQ



What should I bring to camp?


  • Bible
  • Water Bottle or Camelback (We require campers to carry water bottles at all times except when at Lake)
  • Pen, Pencil, Highlighter
  • Paper or notebook
  • Stamps to write home (self-addressed stamped envelopes help)
  • Sun screen and bug spray
  • Flashlight with extra batteries
  • Free time items - playing cards, books, teddy bear
  • Guitar, if you play one
  • (Optional) Camera and film (not an expensive one)


  • Sleeping bag, sheet, pillow
  • Pajamas or night clothes


  • Bath Towels
  • Soap
  • Shampoo
  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrush
  • Toothpaste
  • Comb or brush


  • Swim suit - Boys: Fitting (modest) board shorts; Girls: One piece (modest) bathing suit
  • 4-5 sets of Shorts and T-shirts for recreation (no halter tops or tube tops)
  • Tennis shoes and socks - closed-toed shoes will be worn predominantly around camp
  • One set of old, messy clothes that can be thrown away after a (very!) messy day
  • A sweater or jacket - if you get cold easily
  • Undergarments
  • Towel and water shoes
  • Rain coat or poncho
  • Dirty laundry bag


  • Any medications you need to keep you healthy and having fun! (must be checked in with the Camp Nurse)
  • $10 - $15 for spending at the camp "Snack Shack"
  • Excitement for fun, games, fellowship, and our Lord!

What if I tend to lose things?

Write (using a permanent marker) or sew your name on your clothes and any thing else you don''t want to lose at camp. There will be a lot of people at camp and many opportunities to lose things.

What am I NOT allowed bring to camp?

  • CD Players, iPods, or any other music devices
  • Video games or video game devices
  • Laptops or Cell phones
  • Tight or "short" clothes - Stand with your arms at your sides, if your finger-tips touch your skin, your clothes should be longer for camp.
  • Clothing with questionable sayings or slogans
  • Fireworks
  • Shaving cream - Boys don''t even think about it! :-)
  • Junk food, candy, or beverages - you will have plenty of food and the "Snack Shack" available for snacks during the week.
  • Medications that have not been checked in with the camp nurse
  • Intoxicating or mind-altering substances
  • Weapons
